What is heat?
Heat is a form of energy and with the use of temperature we can tell how hot an object is.
Difference between temperature and heat
Both refer to the same physical state of an object. Heat is the total and complete energy that is stored in a body. It contains both kinetic (moving energy) and potential energy (stored energy) and it is measured in joules. Temperature is a measure of how hot an object is. So when there is heat, the temperature increases. It is the measure of kinetic energy and it is measured in Celsius, Kelvin and Fahrenheit.
